the work and wisdom of my brilliant friend Tobie Giddio is featured in Diane Pernet’s blog this week. I’ve known Tobie for many years and the simple beauty of her work has always been an inspiration.
As photos and video take over our world with their ability to communicate lots of information, illustration has become a rarity. Like a visual haiku of fashion Tobie’s work convey’s the spirit of a dress rather than the technical information about it.
The simplicity and purity of her lines are what I try to achieve in my designs…..
